08.08.2006 Paranormal Investigations - Since the dawn of time people wonder if there is life after death and stories of haunted places and messages from "the other side" are common place. On this show "In-Depth" talks to Mark and Gavin, two people who are and were involved in paranormal investigations. The show tries to dispell some myths as well as coming up with some surprising stories which even make the critics go awe and wonder. The show will also feature interviews with Carol Sterling, one of Scotlands top clairvoyant mediums, and Stewart Keeys, a medium who is well known from his appearances on "Most haunted" and other media outlets. 15.08.08 The current state of the music industry - this show comes to you on popular demand. Thomas did a show on the topic back in May on Liber8FM and people talk about it ever since. The show explores the music industry with all its highs and lows. The show features interviews with OneTwo/OMD - musician Paul Humphreys, the legendary Sparks and an interview with Zakk Wylde, who has been inducted at the Rock Musicians hall of fame and named a very influential guitarist. Wylde is best known for his work in both a KISS and an Ozzy Osbourne tribute band. Guest in the studio is Near FM employee and musical expert George Mulcahy. *

22.08.06 Free Leonard Peltier - we will dedicate the whole show to the case of Native American Leonard Peltier who is imprisoned for 31 years for a crime he has not committed.

29.08.06 Psychonavigation - a double show of 2 hours!! Thomas teams up with his colleague Aoife Nic Canna whose show "Club Choel" usually follows "In-Depth". Psychonavigation is an Irish independent ambient music record label which supports Irish musicians. We will be talking to the people behind the label and play some of the tracks - chill out with us!!

04.07.2006 Complimentary Therapies - The show explores ways to better well being and positive outlook and features studio guests Kate Maher (Tarot Cards, Numerology) and Nicole Valentin (Reiki Master, Swedish Body Massage Therapist).

11.07.2006 The Palestine - Israeli Conflict - This weeks´ episode highlights the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine. Apart from a series of interviews that Thomas conducted on the streets of Belfast and Dublin, Thomas will be joined by topic expert Dr. Francesco Cavatorta, Law and Governance lecturer at Dublins´ DCU.

18.07.2006 Lithuania - a country we don´t know an awful lot about will be presented to us by studio guests Laura Down and Jurga.

25.07.2006 MusicTalk - A show in which we discover the people behind the music as it features extracts from interviews with REDNEX MANIFESTO and ASLAN. Thomas will be joined in the studio by his colleague Aurelie Montfrond who recorded and edited the interviews.

The first month of "In-Depth" is over and was a huge success:

06.06.2006 Globalisation - from an African point of view. The first ever show of "In-Depth" featured a very informative debate which was held at the African Centre in Dublin with speeches by Dr. Constantin Gurdgiev, UCD and Dr. Tajudeen Abdul - Raheem, member of the Pan-African movement. The show also featured an exclusive interview with Ex - Kraftwerk member Karl Bartos.

13.06.06 Climate Change - the show looked in-depth into the issue that is climate change and featured an interview with Peter Wyse Jackson, director of the Botanic Gardens Dublin. Studio guest: Niamh Garvey from Christian Aids. As a very special and very different "World Cup special" Thomas talked to people from Japan and Italy who are currently living in Ireland.

20.06.06 Perception - the show dealt with perception with regards to young people who decide to become musicians. The show featured an interview with Ronan O´Reilly who works in the drum-department @ Music Maker. Studio guests: Simeon Smith, director of the Masamba Samba School and Aaron Kennedy who runs the Drumming Academy in Dublin. The show also featured music by projects involving the guests themselves.

27.06.06 Afghanistan - "In-Depth" revisited the situation of the war torn country of Afghanistan. Studio guest Dawi Roushaan talked very passionate and quite touching about his homeland and his life as a refugee in the republic of Ireland. The show also featured a pre-recorded interview about the "Samaritans" help line for suicidal individuals.

Todays show about "Perception" was great and my guests Simeon Smith and Aaron Kennedy were absolutely great. It was very interesting not only from a musicians point of view. I am sure the next couple of shows will be equally as interesting, so make sure to tune in on TUESDAYS between 3.30p.m. - 4.30p.m.
